My May Epiphany: Everything is a Contract…

Every interaction within human existence can be boiled down to being a matter of contract.

From buying a Pepsi at the corner market, buying a car or the insurance thereof to marriage or sex everything is based on a contract.

Sometimes verbal, sometimes written often just implied the fact remains it can truly be said everything is simply a matter of contract.

Epiphanies are very freeing and this one is definitely so.

I’m not sure if everything’s a contract per se, but almost all interactions are transactional in some form or another. I make that distinction because so many transactions between people don’t – IMHO – have any protection offered by covenant.

Alfie, if you haven’t been over to Rutherford’s blog in a few days you need to. There is terrible news.

  3. Alfie says:

Actually was going to email you. His real name Twitter account is current and nonautomated so I’m not buying the news

  4. Alfie says:

Jonolan you offer the better word with transaction. My epiphany is along the lines of libertarian thought that we don’t need so much government hanging over our actions. Thanks for stopping by
