OK I’ll say it….

Helen “the troll” Thomas DEAD at 92. About freakin time!

  1. Rutherford says:

    Stay classy my friend!

  2. Reblogged this on Conservative Libertarian Outpost and commented:
Calling her a “Troll” is simply being way too polite.

  3. jonolan says:

It’s good that it’s dead. It’s bad that was from natural causes since it’s extermination would have sent a better, stronger message to our enemies, both foreign and domestic.

Creatures like this thing should be exterminated and, when those in collusion with them try to apply the law to patriotic Americans, they and their families – children first – should be exterminated as well.

Cops, prosecutors, judges, and jury members dies like anyone else and so do their families. If they choose to side with America’s enemies, they’re all valid targets as far as I’m concerned.

  4. Alfie says:

yet it always fit so well. thanks for stopping by and reblog.

I can’t abide by the canonization and celebrity of the members of the Fourth Estate. It isn’t something journalists should want nor should they pursue side careers of soothsayer. Helen did this all and did a great disservice to anyone who cared. Her reporting skills were shrill and shallow, she didnt deserve front row status. Any real reporting she was capable of clearly was gone before my time. She really was vile and deserves zero respect. I’ll let others bestow accolades upon her trollness if they like,I will speak my peace though.
In this vein though I look forward to your proper respectful eulogy of Tapper if he fails to outlast you 🙂

  6. Rutherford says:

For sheer logeviity in the busines she deserves some notice as does anyone else with many years in their respective field. She also broke barriers for women. Last but not least we have in this country a reverence for the elderly bordering on condescension. All these factors elevate Thomas’ obit beyond “ding dong the witch is dead”.

  7. Alfie says:

Rutherford we are at polar opposites on this as well as having an experience set that makes part of your comment inane.
First off we are free to like or dislike anyone we want. Position nor deed should alter this. As for Helen she was not a barrier breaker IMO. All too often anointed “breakers” are a fallacy a fixed game to make something seem real or timely all the while only ignoring that such acts are happening anyway, naturally. History has been rewritten to make Thomas look good. It’s a lie dude.
Lastly I have spent way too much time in nursing homes and elderly housing units to even remotely respect your assertion that we give a rats dropping for the aged.
Bottom line you find Thomas a lion of sorts I find her an overrated hack a perverter of a field that was meant to be so much better than it has become. Her truest barrier she ever broke? That the journo is somehow more important than the story/truth.

  8. Rutherford says:

I’d hardly call her a lion. Before she ended her career with some unfortunate comments about Israel I only ever knew her as the old lady that Presidents patronizingly smiled at as she sat in her reserved spot at Presidential pressers. I suppose in my previous comment I didn’t emphasize the condescension enough, The elderly in many cases are treated almost like children and I always got that vibe from the way Presidents treated her at pressers.

Still I get your point about how the 4th Estate should not be part of the story. Here is an article that might interest you about how Al Sharpton has completely blurred the line between TV hosting and advocacy.

  9. Huck says:

I am indifferent regarding the passing of Helen Thomas. But I will say 1 thing…that so many seem to despise her shows just how much influence she truly had. People don’t hate a nobody as much as we are seeing displayed here.

    Take it or leave it.

  10. Huck says:

“I Just don’t understand what can drive an element of the populace to be so fucking delusional,so full of denial and hate and be so dedicated to just piss on a dead person.” Alfie, on the passing of Margaret Thatcher, April 14, 2013

Sorry bud, but nobody is immune from having their own words thrown back at them 😉

  11. Alfie says:

no worries huck I still stip I pale in comparison to what folks did for Thatcher
