Obama will get off the hooks and that is truly sick…

There are two basic concepts we are to embrace when judging President Barack Obama in light of the recent scandals. First is that he is acting outside the law,the second is he is acting well outside the (his) loop.

Even though I’ll readily concede these two points represent an oversimplification of the issue I still feel they are good starting points to shake out an understanding of the issues at hand. In getting to a basic understanding of the situation we can then get into the basis of the post title.

As I brought up in a previous post the Obama Administration has secrecy issues and there is one common denominator in the majority of the Administrations scandals. If you don’t want to click through the answer is AG Eric Holder. Holder has mirrored the questionable and likely illegal actions of his recent predecessors just as he has also brought his own unique perspectives to the position. I feel this is a great example of one of the many things very very wrong with our federal government but the fuller exploration of that is best reserved for a separate post. As I stated in the previous post if there is a Cabinet member close to Obama in body and mind it is imo Eric Holder. This for me makes it unimaginable that Barack Obama is so out of touch with the actions of the DoJ and although it comes under Treasury, the IRS scandal. Whether Obama directly ordered actions or acquiesced via silence isn’t really relevant since the buck is supposed to stop on the desk in the Oval. Obama has consistently refused to accept this particular piece of baggage that comes with the office.

The POTUS is a busy man and the WH is like a high gale force storm in action on any given day. I concede this. Does this mean then that Obamas claims, primarily via surrogates, flies regards his simply being out of the loop of some of these terrible actions? Conservatives should be thanking their lucky stars that nobody is pressing their defenses used back in the Iran-Contra days when they attempted to shelter Reagan from the shit storm that blew then. I’ve seen a lot of comparisons of Obama to Nixon but haven’t seen too many to Reagan.

nixO

The little snapshot I’ve put forth here is in my obviously biased opinion quite good and credible. Any reasonable person could vote for either point or even go the “little bit from column A,a little bit from column B” route. After all the same folks that pillory Obama as a teleprompter reading moron can’t really have their cake and eat it too by then calling Obama a criminal anti-American mastermind of Moriarty proportions. And we can’t forget to mention the whole Obama is a puppet meme and the Bilderbergs et al are really running the show. Fuck all that! The truth is that the Administration has an agenda and has factions within it that moves with the bureaucracy and against it at times. The ultimate take away here regards the Obama Administration is that is as paranoid as it is dedicated to establishing change. This change is not an Obama original but just a carry over of the elitist pro big government set. All we have seen is the logical fallout of a system moving along its destiny line.

In closing as it were I want to address the title. The media for their part have finally got the point. Alas this occurred not from righteous epiphany but from selfishness. The King has hit them and that will not get a pass!!! Although I agree with them that the AP,Fox and whistleblower angles are truly the most damning scandals oozing out of the Administration they have enabled this Administration to a great degree via their bias. Hopefully their blinders are off for the rest of Obamas term but I doubt it and that is where O starts to wriggle off the hooks.

The Tea Party v IRS story is dying. It is willingly being buried by the media as the look for reconciliation with the O on the sin he committed against them. They are also looking for the next thing whether it is from the Administration or from some other corner of the world. For me the saddest part of the IRS scandal is that nobody has had the Aha! moment that the exemption clauses need to be removed from the Code.

Fast & Furious won’t even get a nod this Memorial Day. It is dead and forgotten by those that could use it for good.

Drones policy redux. Not unlike the IRS scandal the real issue won’t be getting addressed. I doubt Rand Paul et al can resuscitate the worthy issue at hand. SC Sen. Miss Lindsey Graham has all ready fired the stupid salvo across the bow on this one when he challenged Obamas “resolve”. regards Al Qaeda and terrorism. The drone mantle is cemented and awaits the next POTUS,congrats to our Progressive friends for delivering this bit of Hope & Change.

Lois Lerner and Eric Holder heading for the exits would put the period on the sentence. These actions would result in Obama being off the hook set to finish his term campaigning for immigration reforms and something else in the public education or public infrastructure arena.

Yep. Obama droned another Pakistani Taliban (along with 1/2 a dozen people who happened to be standing next to him) today.

I have no love for Taliban of any flavor, but it was just a couple days ago Obama led on that he was going to start scaling back the drones and only go after people that posed a threat to the US or Americans. Seeing as this guy was a Pakistani Taliban and not an Afghani Taliban, just what direct threat did he pose to us our ours?

Absolutely Huck I’m with you! I too hold no love for the various Taliban entities but I fail to see the curve that makes the most recent any good. I also haven’t seen anything that says this helps Islamabad. I would think the “collateral” parties will weigh heavier on the scales of public opinion in Pakistan. Doesn’t help the incoming government I imagine.

  3. Huck says:

Obama gave his copout for this today. His position was basically…”I said we would keep droning in the Afghan War THEATER…and that includes Pakistan”

    Such BS

Which does nothing to explain why he drone killed some “suspected” AQAP members driving in S. Yemen the other day.

I didn’t see anyone named in the article I read about it. Who knows if everyone that was killed were even “suspects.” The way the article read was that their crime was basically to have been driving in AQ-controlled territory.

Maybe that is all it takes for our Nobel Peace Prize winning terrorist hunter.
