PressTV Watch #3 WikiLeaks and Tehranian Paranoia

My most recent perusal of PressTV , the Iranian english language propaganda arm, has provided this nugget that appears to be the official position of the Tehran government regards the West and WikiLeaks.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad described the published documents as part of a US “psychological warfare” against Iran. PressTV

The full article mentions how it seems suspicious that such vast amounts of info could be procured without official channels assisting. That of course plays well in some conspiracy theory circles and runs contrary to the previous releases being tied to one individual and fairly focused.

If Iran had any clue they’d use this opportunity to play along with some of the West as well as Moscow and further bolster their positions diplomatically. The response they’ve chosen shows how irrational the Iranian government can be at times.

Iran should be on notice to the fact that the leaked information clearly confirms many concepts known about the region. Specifically that a number of Iran’s fellow Muslim cousins don’t care much for the Tehran government and the regional aspirations of the Shiite mullahs.

There are very real consequences to be had in the region and they are connected to issues way too many people are unaware of.

Best thing about the leaks – documents the Bushco lies. As if it was not clear to many.

The Saudi king makes a prediction that has not yet come to pass, yet it refutes Bush’s claims?

    Maybe in your world…..
