Anyway it attempts (perhaps more my perception) to look at the Pentagons multi-faith chapels existence as an example of why the WTC area and 51 Park to do is a bogus argument.
For me it did the complete opposite. By illustrating the chapel as being ecumenical in nature its existence truly does salute what is best about America. I know for a fact that there are plenty of people in the USA that hate the idea of government even via the armed forces “supporting” religion,but they’re idiots.
The Pentagons Chapel stands as a perfect example of what is truly missing from the Ground Zero debacle. Reverence,remembrance and unity.As stated in the piece the location is ecumenical in nature. Sterile of symbolism except when worshipers bring their own stuff.The halls around it are marked with memorials to the people lost at the Pentagon as well as blatant reminders of the events of that morning.
