abc=another bullshit comparison…

I came across an article from abc via Yahoo.

Anyway it attempts (perhaps more my perception) to look at the Pentagons multi-faith chapels existence as an example of why the WTC area and 51 Park to do is a bogus argument.

For me it did the complete opposite. By illustrating the chapel as being ecumenical in nature its existence truly does salute what is best about America. I know for a fact that there are plenty of people in the USA that hate the idea of government even via the armed forces “supporting” religion,but they’re idiots.

The Pentagons Chapel stands as a perfect example of what is truly missing from the Ground Zero debacle. Reverence,remembrance and unity.As stated in the piece the location is ecumenical in nature. Sterile of symbolism except when worshipers bring their own stuff.The halls around it are marked with memorials to the people lost at the Pentagon as well as blatant reminders of the events of that morning.

Perhaps I’m too harsh on abc. I don’t think so,but I am glad I saw the article.

    No, you’re not too harsh on ABC. They, with the possible exception of Tapper, stopped being journalists a long time ago. The Fourth Estate became a Fifth Column years and years ago though it’s only in very recent times that we, the People have fully realized the depths of their treason and magnitude by which they’ve violated the mandate that granted them the constitutional freedoms they abuse and corrupt.

    “Treason”? But thats “crazy” talk!!!!!!!!!!! Put him in moderation Alfie. Its obvious he is crazy and the doctor isnt in. Its insane to think the MSM is treasonous. Right Alfie? Right?

    @Jonolan the story is starting to move about. I’ve seen it in a few other places so the new meme seems to be that if the Pentagon has it…
    A completely ridiculous claim but they’ll call it news and good reporting and such.
    @Elric. NO!

    I don’t think it’s going to grow too long of a pair of legs, Alfie. There’s too much difference between how people feel about the Pentagon and Ground Zero. It’s just not going to resonate, especially when everyone knows the US military is multi-faith.

    It might not have legs J but that won’t stop people from trying to bring it out and about.
