The Pak 5,wassup wit dat?

on

So theres five US citizens,Umar Farooq, Waqar Khan, Ahmed Minni, Aman Hassan Yemer and Ramy Zamzam, that have been arrested in Pakistan for terrorism. they of course state adamantly that they are by no means guilty of terrorism. They are jihadists that were only in Pakistan ‘cuz they couldn’t get a direct flight to Afghanistan so they could then kill US soldiers.

So many questions here.

#1. Is the President still gonna cling too his “poor disadvantaged Muslims” thing?

#2. Should the USA lift a finger to help defend these citizens?

#3. Do we really want to charge these guys ourselves and pursue extradition from Pakistan?

These are all legit queries and go hand in hand with the current political debate/climate stateside.

I have the answers except #1. I think he’ll eventually waffle on it. He’ll not retract it but he’ll not utter it again. I could be wrong but his record seems to back it up.

  4. 1: Yes, he will pull the race card or some other similar such maneuver.
2: Yes, they are citizens after all. If they get convicted in Pakistan though, they should be subject to that nations laws, and punishment.
3: Should they somehow not get convicted then we should examine whether they in fact violated any American laws. If that appears to be the situation, then, bring them back and try them.
