#1. I have had to turn on the thermostats at chez Alfie. Here comes the OMG moments of being a New Englander who heats with oil. The saving grace and I mean this is said thermostats. I have a multi-zone system with programmable thermostats and it really helps.
#2. My home state is very likely going to seat an incompetent to Congress solely based on his name and shit bag pedigree. That’s right America we’re giving you another Kennedy.
#3. I’m holding out hope for the states Independents/Unenrolled voters to come through for me (and the country) in November. America and of course Massachusetts needs to allow Scott Brown to serve a full term. The guy still believes the seat belongs to the People. Lizzie Warren has actually called for Teddy’s seat to be taken back…ugghh! This is the best reason to vote in the Senate race. The attached realities that Brown offers a better working solution for the state and nation should weigh heavy on the hand in the booth. Please please please send Scott Brown back to D.C. in November.
#4. Joe Biden was my candidate of choice back in 2007. I even endorsed the prick. The VP debate was a devastating blow to what I always saw as a basic quality in Biden. The condescending pompous piece of shit forever savaged his legacy in my book. He could’ve gone down in history as one of the last blue-collar type Democrats. Instead he will now forever be the Cheshire Cat grinning turd who couldn’t bring honesty to a debate with a guy that looked like a sick puppy.
First, I wouldn’t be unhappy with a Scott Brown win. I like the guy and although I find listening to Liz very cathartic, I have said and still say she can do more good outside of elected office than within it. Obama really pulled the rug out from under her by not appointing her to lead the group she created.
I don’t follow local MA politics … who’s the Kennedy that’s got your undies in a knot? If he’s a youngin’ then maybe there’s hope for a return of Camelot someday?
I refuse to link his campaign site so I give you Weigel from Slate
I gather you are not a big Kennedy fan. I wondered which one the family was grooming. What does surprise me is that you endorsed Biden but then what other choice was there in 2007
To be clear I endorsed Biden for the D and Romney for the R
